Static Cling Vinyl has no adhesive, but will cling to most flat, smooth surfaces such as glass, plastic, and painted steel. Static Cling / Static Stick can be easily removed and reapplied without any negative affect to the decal itself. It is recommended only for indoor use and can be used on the inside of windows. Static Cling Decals and Stickers made of .007" white or clear static-adhering stock use no adhesive; static holds the decal firmly in place. Split backing is not recommended. |
We strongly discourage our customers from using static cling stickers on the outside of car and truck windows. We also do not recommend using static cling on the inside of rear and side automotive windows that has a very dark tint on them as it is difficult to read. A great alternative to this would be to use clear, white, or yellow decals on the outside of the vehicle glass. Our Screen-printed decals using UV inks will hold up superbly under all weather conditions and generally can be removed without leaving any residue.
